Sardella’s Restaurant & Catering Offers award winning cuisine, experienced staff and versatile event rooms. A warm Tuscan atmosphere creates the perfect setting for groups of 20-200. Each room in Sardella’s Restaurant has a unique feature, but all share the same qualities, offering a warm, comfortable, romantic Tuscan setting. The rooms are open for nightly dining, but are also available for private parties, including rehearsal dinners, corporate dinners and luncheons, retirement parties, or any type of event you may be interested in hosting. The kitchen and wait staff at Sardella’s have years of experience with general dining, and private events, which has helped us obtain the awards for Best Italian Restaurant in Newport, and Rhode Island, by magazines “Newport Life”, and “Rhode Island Monthly”. Saluté Room

A comfortable, open style-seating room, highlighted with pine wainscoting, and decorated with Baroque style prints. French doors open up to the outdoor patio overlooking William Street, for outdoor dining in warm weather.

Pompeii Room

The hand painted mural on the side of the wall, gives the room an Italian Tuscan setting, with windows and French doors, that are opened during warmer months, which give the feel of a sunroom atmosphere.

Tuscan Room

This private room located in the upstairs part of the restaurant has an elegant, cozy setting, with a private bar, and private restroom facilities. During the cold winter months a fireplace heats the room. In the summer months, French doors open to an outdoor patio with a beautiful ornate Spanish style wrought iron fence, where, guests can enjoy drinks and h’ ordeurves, overlooking William Street.

Oak Room

Oak paneling lines the walls with a big, colorful stained glass window, in the middle of the room.

Courtyard

A rustic Tuscan style patio, with the look of ancient stone, and arches, give this area, an intimate outdoor setting, during the warm months. Patio heaters take the chill out of the air on cooler nights.
